to network, to pool interests, and share a common vision with a
view to developing the Niger Delta and Ijawland.
2. Attendees will meet Mr. Ndutimi Alaibe,
an illustrious Ijaw and Niger Delta son. NDDC controls a budget
that is greater than the combined budgets of the six states that
make up the Niger Delta. It is also an opportunity to discuss the
relevance of NDDC in the Niger Delta and Ijawland.
3. The night will avail attendees with
first hand information about the political problems in Ijawland.
The evening will also involve serious discussions about the plight
of the people of the Niger Delta and Ijawland. The night is designed
to help strengthen the collective resolve of people of like-mind
from the Niger Delta and Ijawland to stop the drift in our land.
4. Learn and share strategies for economic
empowerment from the resources and opportunities in the Niger Delta.
Through our collective economic empowerment, the struggle for the
emancipation of the people of the Niger Delta and Ijawland can be
sustained without the need to depend on the patronage of the real
enemies of our people.
5. It is a night about transforming the
lives of attendees and their dependents in the Niger Delta and Ijawland.
6. Shared values are the glue that holds
a community together. The Dinner event will be a night for attendees
to re-affirm our shared values.
7. No community can grow if the people
do not have developing capacity. The evening will enable participants
to exchange ideas on how best to enhance the development capacity
of the people of the Niger Delta and Ijawland.
8. Help Raise funds for The Struggle
to Bring Positive Change to Governance of Ijawland and the Niger
Delta. Funds will be applied to Project 2003 priorities and other
ongoing programs of Ogele club. Use your money to support a politically
savvy Niger Delta electorate, reliable leadership and to sustain
the hopes of our people. It is not about the food. It is about the
struggle to be human in the face man's inhumanity to man. It is
about taking care of business at the home front before confronting
external barriers.
